The mission of Franklin County Humane Society is to care for our area’s homeless animals, rehome as many as possible, and improve animal welfare throughout our community. As an open-admission shelter, we accept all cats and dogs in need. We are an independent 501c3 organization contracted by the City of Frankfort and the Franklin County Fiscal Court for animal control services.
We have wonderful dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens for adoption. We accept animals surrendered by citizens at no charge and care for lost, stray, and homeless animals. We offer low-cost spay and neuter services to the public, microchipping, and city licensing. We work to educate the public about animal welfare and frequently hold community events such as portable adoptions and fundraisers.
We will meet this challenge with your contribution. Our exciting new facility features a medical care clinic meeting community needs for low-cost spay/neuter, community cat trap, neuter and return (TNR), and assistance for owners in retaining their pets.
About the Bourbon Raffle
This is the third bourbon raffle in support of the Franklin County Humane Society. The first two raffles raised funds to construct a new state-of-the-art facility. Now that the new shelter is complete, all proceeds will benefit the animals in our care.
3,000 tickets will be sold at $100 per ticket, and there are 23 different flights of bourbon (Over 100 Bottles) available to win.
