Hardin’s Creek is made at the Fred B. Noe Distillery, part of the James Beam Distilling Company. It’s dedicated to seventh generation master distiller Fred Noe and led by his son, Freddie Noe, carrying on the family tradition. The Hardin’s Creek label references over 220 years of Kentucky distilling history and the creek that first generation distiller Johannes Jacob Beam used for water and power. This collection celebrates the history of American Whiskey, while looking to the future.
Since this is all for the Franklin County Humane Society, let’s talk about the KY Series #2, Frankfort. The Kentucky Series takes you to different locations for the aging of each release. Beam’s Frankfort aging campus has a creek bed running through it to create a humid microclimate. This slows the aging process, creating a flavor unique from the others in the series. #1, 2, and 3 share the same mash bill, but each has a personality all its own.
